David Lawes - Director, FCCA
David has a wealth of experience having been working in the profession for over 50 years. His fortes are business profitability and tax investigations and he retains great enthusiasm for every aspect of the Accountancy profession. David is a keen sports fan and to our knowledge is the only person to have played first team cricket, rugby and football for Wimborne’s clubs in the same season.

Cheryl Lawes - Director, FCCA
Cheryl joined England & Company in 1989, qualified here and became a partner in 1997. She runs her own portfolio of clients and is responsible for the compliance function of the business and its development. Away from work she enjoys her family and interior design.

Daniel Whitcher - Director, FCCA CTA
Daniel started with England & Company in 1998. He qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2003, as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2004 and obtained his Audit Practising Certificate in 2007. He was appointed a Director of England & Company in early 2008. Daniel deals with his own portfolio of clients and is also involved with technical tax issues that arise on clients outside of his own portfolio. Outside of work, Daniel is an avid football fan and follower of Liverpool FC, and lives in Colehill with his young family.

Matt Rees - FCCA MAAT
Matt has been working in practice as an accountant since 1985 and after working in Bridport and then Blandford Forum, joined England and Company in 2007. With over 20 years of experience he has the knowledge to help deal with most situations that arise. He has an unfortunate passion for golf and has been playing since the age of 10, currently playing off a handicap of 6 and has been as low as 2. When not playing golf Matt enjoys travelling.

Lizzie Staniland - ACCA
Lizzie joined the firm in August 2000 and trained and qualified at England & Company. Her spare time is taken up by helping on the farm she shares with her partner. When not doing farm duties she enjoys travelling and socialising.

Peter Wilson - ACA BA (Hons)
Peter has worked in practice since 2003 and joined England & Company in early 2008. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant. When not at work, Peter can be found playing and listening to music as well as spending time with his young family.

Charlotte Walsh – ACCA BA (Hons)
Charlotte has worked in practice after gaining a degree in Accountancy in 2001 and qualified in 2006. When she is not at work she enjoys going for walks in the county and on the beach, socialising with friends and family and reading books and watching films.
Mervyn Allison
Mervyn joined England & Company in early 2009 and has a wealth of experience having worked in practice for over 20 years. When not at work, Mervyn enjoys hiking, playing golf and spending time with the grandchildren.
