At England & Company, our aim is to provide you with an efficient and professional service and of course a large part of this job is preparing your Accounts.

Accounts need to be accurate, timely and tax efficient. We have invested heavily in our staff training, software, ICT infrastructure and internal systems to ensure that ours are.

This achievement was recognised in 2006 when England & Company was awarded the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants “quality assured” kite mark.

We can prepare financial statements at all levels, right through from a small sole trader to a corporate group requiring consolidated accounts. Additionally we act in the more specialist areas of doctors, charities and solicitors. We are fully conversant with Sage, QuickBooks and other leading accounts software packages and can offer advice, training and development of your skills here.

We see your accounts not as the end product, but as the first step to our overall service – after all any Accountant, qualified or not, can make you compliant. Our approach is to firstly ensure you have a set of high quality accounts, prepared on a timely basis, but we then use these as a starting point to give further advice to improve your business and make you as tax efficient as possible. This can range from analysis of your performance, benchmarking against industry standards, review of growth opportunities and can form the basis for future business’ strategy. This will be dealt with initially at a meeting with a director of England & Company where we discuss your accounts.
