In recent years the audit limit has increased significantly, but the regulation and compliance associated with International Auditing Standards has increased dramatically. Together these have changed the scope of audit somewhat. We as auditors now focus on the risk areas of your business. You should expect an audit to give something back in terms of recommended improvements rather than being there as a necessity.
