Management Accountant/Bookkeeper/Payroll Processor
We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper/management accountant coming from industry or general practice to join our busy Outsourcing Team.
The successful candidate will:
- Have an excellent working knowledge of current software and cloud based packages including Sage, Xero and Quickbooks.
- Will need to demonstrate a strong background in bookkeeping to reconciled trial balance level and preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts and payroll production.
- Have a good knowledge of VAT and VAT return preparation. To include annual accounting, VAT flat rate scheme, cash accounting and retail schemes.
- Your payroll experience will ideally cover payroll processing, to include a knowledge of Auto Enrolment for pensions and monthly submissions to HMRC.
You will be a self-motivated individual who is able to work to tight deadlines and deliver completed work to a high standard on a timely basis. Equally, you will enjoy being part of a happy team in this progressive and vibrant accounting practice.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the head of our bureau team the successful candidate will run a varied portfolio of clients’ accounts. Some of the bookkeeping work involved will be carried out at our clients’ premises.
The role will ideally suit a full time position, however, for the right candidate an element of flexibility could be considered if agreed prior to commencement of the role.
Salary and Benefits
Salary: Market rates
Working hours: Monday – Friday 08:45am – 5:00pm
Holiday Entitlement: 28 days including Bank Holidays
Benefits: Upon completion of a 6 month probation period the successful candidate will be entitled to receive Private Health Insurance and a Parking Permit.
