Our approach

Each client at England & Company is assigned a Director or Associate Director as their primary point of contact. Additionally, they are paired with a designated client manager from our team. This client manager oversees all aspects of the client's requirements, including accounts preparation, tax matters, and company secretarial tasks. Our collaborative approach ensures that each client receives tailored and responsive assistance suited to their unique business circumstances.
By combining technical expertise with extensive experience, we proactively guide our clients through every stage of their business journey. Our approach resonates particularly well with entrepreneurial and commercial business owners seeking comprehensive support. As we continue to serve local businesses, our commitment remains unwavering: to offer a diverse range of services, deep knowledge, and personalized attention to each client we have the privilege to assist.
Our history
England & Company was formed in 1979 by Richard England (our namesake). The Practice was initially located in Wimborne Town centre and grew throughout the 1980’s.
Cheryl joined the firm in 1990, later taking on clients of her own before becoming a partner in 1997.
The firm then incorporated, to become a Limited Company in 2002. We moved to larger premises at 7 & 8 Church Street, Wimborne in early 2008, this coincided with Daniel being appointed a Director.
The next decade brought further growth, and an extension of our services. By the time Matt joined as a Director in 2019 the firm had grown to a team of 25, for its 40th anniversary year. Further incremental growth and again service expansion has resulted in Lauren and Ian as Associate Directors in 2023.
By November 2025, we had expanded to 35 employees so a further move was required. We now call Faulkner House, in West Street, home, so we remain in Wimborne Town Centre, but now have room to accommodate our growing teams, expand further and hold small training seminars to assist clients.
